Building a Stronger Oregon

Rep. Evans continues to provide experienced and effective leadership for Oregon, drawing on a lifetime of public service to strengthen our communities, improve public safety, prepare Oregon for emergencies and disasters, and expand opportunities for Oregonians.   • As Co-Chair of the Joint Ways and Means Subcommittee on Public Safety, Paul helps guide critical state investments in public safety, the justice system, emergency response, and essential services.

  • His work on the Transportation Committee focuses on improving safety, strengthening Oregon's infrastructure, and ensuring our transportation system meets the needs of communities across the state.

  • A veteran himself, Paul brings decades of experience in public service and emergency preparedness to the Emergency Management and Veterans Committee, advocating for stronger disaster readiness and support for Oregon veterans and their families.

  • On the Higher Education Committee, Paul draws on his experience as an educator to support accessible education, workforce training, and pathways to good-paying careers.

  • Through his service on the Joint Ways and Means Committee and Emergency Board, Paul helps make responsible decisions about Oregon's budget and investments in communities throughout the state.
