Happy almost 4th of July!
 
This is your personal invitation to an old-fashioned small town celebration.
 
On the 4th we gather together, set aside our partisan and political differences, and share in the warmth of knowing that our country - our community is something special.
 
There will be flags, apple pie, and more than a few Ford trucks (though with gas prices, they will likely be parked).
 
So, if you don't have plans already - or even if you do - come on by the house and join the fun.
 
Food, frosty beverages, and fun will be provided for whoever shows up. 
 
As always, the front porch will be the party: we will watch the parade as it rolls past (Children's Parade begins at 11:30 a.m. - the Grand Parade begins at 12:00 noon).
