Evans has shown strong commitment

October 28, 2006I have known Paul Evans since he was a very young man and have watched with admiration as he has consistently chosen to use his considerable intelligence and talents to serve others.
He was highly involved with student government in high school and college and served as the youngest Monmouth City Council member and mayor. His commitment to serving his country continued in his tours in the Middle East. It speaks volumes about his character that in the midst of his current Oregon Senate race he has volunteered again to serve his country when called to do so.
We need a person in our state government with the qualities Paul Evans embodies: integrity, love of Oregon and commitment to serving others over self.
