• Governor's Task Force on Veterans' Services (2008): Developed 39 Recommendations for Action - facilitated implementation of 26 Recommendations in 2009

• Oregon Pioneer PAC (2007): Developed/implemented political action committee dedicated to non-partisan leadership development in local governance

• Mid-Willamette Valley Mayor's Coalition (1999-2002): Developed/implemented integrated regional strategies for "smart growth"

• Monmouth-Independence Community Skatepark (2000): Community volunteer

• Associated Students of Western Oregon State College (1990-1992): Reorganized student government; institutional student fees; and developed/implemented statewide fight to keep public universities open (after Measure 5)
